In November 2023 our business school received exciting news from Stanford’s Women in Data Science Worldwide: The distinction of High Impact Ambassadors for three editions with a total of six events in the cities of Barcelona and Madrid over the last three years.

A distinction that makes us proud for several reasons. Highlighting first that we are the only ones in Spain with this distinction. Furthermore, only 5% of ambassadors worldwide receive this distinction at some point in their professional career.

The adventure surrounding the WiDS Barcelona – Madrid event began in 2020 and has continued to be repeated every year and acts as the starting point for the beginning of the summer. This independent event is run by AMBS as part of the annual edition organized by Stanford University. In more than 150 different headquarters, it gives visibility to relevant women doing outstanding work in the field of data science.
