Next February 16th and 23rd, respectively, we will celebrate the kick off and closing of the Datathon Barcelona. ​​​​An event programmed within the framework of the WiDS Initiative (Women in Data Science) of Stanford University, of which we have been proud ambassadors of since 2021.

The sessions will take place in the Basetis offices, located in the emblematic La Pedrera building, and will be organized in collaboration with the Basetis technology consultancy.

This is an event that is both a training and collaborative activity, with the main objective of working in teams on a select set of data. The content of which will be prepared by Stanford University itself. This year’s challenge is focused on research into metastatic breast cancer.

In this edition, we are honored to announce the participation of numerous female students from the AMBS Big Data programme. Which we were able to host as a result of being awarded one of the 300 business school European-funded scholarships at the end of last year.
